SHOWA 8814 Charguard is a 355 mm heat-resistant gauntlet for dry-heat handling. Its spray-applied neoprene coating has a rough grip surface over a cut-and-sewn cotton/polyester construction.

Heat performance
SHOWA describes resistance up to 260°C for 15 seconds in dry-heat applications. This limited-duration statement is not a continuous-use rating. Select gloves according to the temperature, contact time and task, following the manufacturer instructions.
